Altar Servers
Altar servers assist the priest at Mass by serving at the altar, by helping in preparing at sanctuary/altar for the celebration of the Mass, and by assisting at special masses (e.g. weddings, funerals, etc.) when needed. Altar serving is open to boys grades 3 and up. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Parish Office.
Lector
The proclamation of God’s Word in Sacred Scripture is an important responsibility. Lectors are confirmed men and women who help proclaim the scriptures at Mass. They must possess some comfort in reading in front of a congregation, and must be able to read clearly and meaningfully.
Eucharistic Minister
Men and women who serve our parish community as Extraordinary Ministers of the Body and Blood of Christ help the priest distribute Holy Communion at Mass. Eucharistic Ministers should be confirmed Catholics and must manifest a deep reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist.
Usher
These dedicated parishioners serve at Sunday Mass and also at other important liturgical functions throughout the year. They select the gift-bearers who will carry the bread and wine to the altar. They organize the collection and distribute the parish bulletin. Ushers must be friendly and welcoming as they assist persons arriving for Mass.
Gift Bearers
Gift bearers are members of our parish community who bring the gifts of bread and wine to the altar.
Greeters
Greeters are members of our parish community who welcome visitors and members to Mass. By providing a warm and sincere welcoming atmosphere, each person is able to receive all that God has for them in service.
