When a loved one is near death or has passed away we are here to help.

If you have a family member who is near death, please call the parish office to arrange for Father to come and administer the Anointing of the Sick (Last Rites).

When a loved one has died, please call the parish office to schedule the funeral.  Once the date and time have been scheduled, a planning meeting will be setup with Father to arrange the details of the funeral Mass including readings and songs.

Burials…

The funeral home generally works with our cemetery caretaker to arrange the burial.  If you need to contact our caretaker directly, please call the parish office.

Planning for the funeral Mass

The Church of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic Church, which means that we celebrate funerals in accordance with the norms of the Catholic faith.  Therefore, not all requests may be accommodated such as readings which are not from the bible, or non-religious songs, or other special requests.

Regarding Eulogies, please note that at Immaculate Conception the practice of giving a eulogy is done at the luncheon rather than at church.
