The Immaculate Conception Council of Catholic Women was started in 1905 by 13 women as the Rosary Society. Several years ago the organization became a part of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women and the Southwest Deanery and the name was changed to I.C. CCW.
The CCW provides for many areas, some of which include:
- Needs of the altar, including candles, the hosts, religious readings books and other items that the priest requests.
- Donating to several local, regional, national and international charities and Catholic events.
These are all funded through various fundraising events sponsored by the IC-CCW.
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of September, October, November, December, March, April and May.
All women of the parish are invited to join! If you have any questions, please contact President Mary Rah at 507-351-7967 or email marypexa@yahoo.com or just come to a meeting.
