Divine Mercy Chaplet and Novena

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is a beautiful prayer said in honor of Jesus’ mercy, and an appeal for His mercy to continue to be poured out upon us.

The Divine Mercy Novena

The novena to Divine Mercy begins on Good Friday and concludes on Divine Mercy Sunday (the Sunday after Easter).
I invite you to join me in praying this beautiful prayer as we prepare to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday on April 19th.

How to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is prayed on rosary beads.

In place of the “Our Father” beads, pray: “Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.”

In place of the “Hail Mary” beads, pray: “For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

At the end of the five decades, pray this prayer three times: “Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
